We tend to overcomplicate things in our minds but manifesting can actually be simple. We think we need to do every manifesting method, only think positive thoughts, believe every second of the day, and follow exactly how others have done it. In reality, you don’t need to do all that, you don’t need to be perfect. In my opinion, here are the only 5 steps you need to take: 1) choose a manifestation that is aligned with your values and get clear on what you want and why, 2) clear out any limiting beliefs, 3) adopt new inner core beliefs, 4) energetically align by tapping into the feelings you want, and 5) take aligned action.
- Choose manifestations that are actually what you want and that align with your values.
- You are in charge of creating your life. By manifesting, you are putting in effort and energy to bring what you want toward you. I don’t want you to manifest something and wait so long, only for it to not actually be fulfilling or what you thought it’d be. For it just to be something you thought you wanted. This is why you should reflect on what is actually important to you in life and what dreams are authentic to you, not just what you think you want because that could be influenced by others, how it might look, etc.
- Take as much time as you want to reflect on what you value in life. Some questions to ask yourself: What brings me joy and makes me feel alive? What feelings and things am I constantly craving, gravitating towards, and searching for in people, situations, activities, etc.? If there was no chance of failure, what would I do? What am I jealous of and why? I promise you it’s always a feeling that you want, not the physical thing you’re manifesting, so that is what you want to focus on- the feeling.
- Now that you know what you want, you need to get rid of all limiting beliefs around what you are manifesting.
- There are of course going to be limiting beliefs and conditioning around this thing that you want. It is very normal and I promise they will show up. If you don’t release them, then you will face so many blocks, resistance, and self-sabotage. To release them you first need to become aware of them.
- I want you to write down every fear and negative belief you have around what you are manifesting. What is your inner critic saying? What feelings are coming up? Just do a brain dump so you can get it all out in front of you and know what you are working with. I also want you to try to understand where it is coming from, childhood most likely. You want to get to the root of it and then release it. There are many ways to rewire your brain, but EFT tapping is my favorite. It is the easiest, quickest, and most effective way.
- You need to rewire your brain and adopt the beliefs of the version of you who already has your manifestation.
- Now that we know what our limiting beliefs are, we can just decide to adopt the opposite belief. We don’t have to identify with our limiting beliefs from childhood. You can just decide that that isn’t you anymore. Choose what your new belief system is and stick to it. You want to align your inner core beliefs to match them to the person who has your manifestation. We manifest what we believe we deserve, not what we want.
- If you have trouble following through with what you say, this can make manifesting hard to believe because in the past you have proven to your subconscious mind that you don’t make things happen for you. A little trick I use to help with this is I just say out loud what I’m about to do and then do it. For example, “I am going to get out of bed”, then get out of bed. I want you to do this all day.
- Our subconscious mind is powerful. We can change our reality just by changing our perceptions. Realizing this allows us to be more in control of our life as a lot of people’s minds are in control of their life, feelings, and actions. So, by changing our perceptions, our energy changes.
- You want to align energetically and focus on the feeling behind what you are manifesting.
- However many times you can throughout the day, tap into the energy of what it would be like to have this goal. Identify the feeling you want behind what you are manifesting and do activities that make you feel that way. You don’t want to restrict yourself from feeling how you want. It is not true that you can only feel this way if you have the physical manifestation because you have access to the full range of emotions at any time.
- Extra good times to tap into these feelings are right when you’re dozing off, and right when you wake up but are still partly asleep. You still want to continue to tap into this energy throughout the day, randomly or planned. You can set alarms, or do it during a certain task. Just do whatever works for you. All that manifesting methods do is align you energetically and have you work with your subconscious mind, so you can also script, say manifesting affirmations, or do a vision board. I want you to just tap into that energy however you would like in ways that make you feel good.
- Lastly, you just have to take aligned action and become the person who has what you are manifesting.
- Focusing on becoming the person who already has the manifestation, instead of chasing and trying to change your exterior world to achieve your dreams, is how you can manifest in the most effective way. So reflect on their beliefs, habits, and lifestyle. How do they talk to themselves? How do they act when things go wrong? How can you become the person who has all that you want, and what are the steps in between?
- Become this version of yourself. Do the inner work, change your mindsets, adopt their habits and routines, and just act like you are this person already. What you are manifesting is only waiting on you to become the person you need to be to have it. It’s not about waiting for a random moment and chasing what you want.
- You want to create a practical plan to actually achieve what you are manifesting from what you know now. Allow this plan to change because you will learn more along the way. Follow your intuition, even when it doesn’t make sense, and follow the path that feels most right to you from where you are right now. The key is to follow what you think is the best way to get there from the knowledge you have now and don’t listen to anyone but yourself.

I know manifesting can feel daunting, frustrating, and confusing. But, again it can be simplified into a few steps. All it is is knowing what you want, releasing blocks, doing the inner work and changing your beliefs, and then taking action that feels right to you. You wouldn’t have this desire if you weren’t meant to have it. You deserve all that you desire and I hope you believe that.
